Boat Building

In addition to sailing the many boats, Atlantic Challenge programs encourage participants to become involved in the maintenance and repair of each boat. During the off season or bad weather, we are working to keep the fleet afloat.

Traditional and modern boat building and repair techniques are used and participants work together learning as they go. As of 2022, we’re looking for a new shop so we can continue working on the boats and to store our equipment for programs. There’s always something to do or the next project being planned.
