Volunteer

**May 2011- The Atlantic Challenge Canada Board of Directors is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers who wish to contribute to the continuing operations and responsibilities of our program. Various positions are available to those seeking to enrich this organization. If you are interested in a Board of Directors term or would like further information, please contact either Scott Wagg or Alain Doutre.**

Volunteers contribute experience, enthusiasm and time to Atlantic Challenge Canada each year. Our network of volunteers currently contribute over 4000 hours each year to running our programs, promoting Atlantic Challenge in the community, repairing our wooden longboats and fundraising.

We are always seeking new volunteers to get involved with the Canadian program and contribute valuable time to ensure Canadian youth have a safe and exciting time. Volunteer activities occur throughout the year locally, nationally and internationally. Travel opportunities exist while running our expeditions throughout Canada and during International Contest of Seamanship years internationally. Our two 38’wooden replica longboats require maintenance each year in the off season and everyone is invited to get involved in their upkeep.

To find out more information on how you can get involved, please contact Scott Wagg by email or phone 705-330-0360.
